GDPR

GDPR, also called the General Data Protection Regulation, is a new law that applies to all EU countries and entails increased protection for individuals’ privacy.
We take your privacy very seriously and handle all our customers’ personal data with care. This privacy policy explains and clarifies how we, as the data controller, process our visitors’ personal data in accordance with (EU) 2016/279, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which enters into force on 25 May 2018. By using our website, you agree that your personal information is processed in accordance with this privacy policy.

Why we process personal data

Personal data are recorded and processed by N&W Global Accounting AB primarily for administrative purposes, to be able to provide globalaccounting.se, to perform the action for which the personal data were provided, and to communicate with visitors.
For us to process your personal data, we must have a valid legal basis. Unless otherwise stated below, our basis is legitimate interest or the performance of a contract. Processing may also be necessary to comply with a legal obligation.

N&W Global Accounting’s legitimate interest is primarily to fulfil the commitment for which the personal data were provided to us, but also to provide you and your organisation with information (marketing and news) in areas that we believe are relevant to you in your professional role or as a job seeker. Where applicable, the legitimate interest may also include the defence of legal claims.

N&W Global Accounting processes personal data, among other things, in order to:

  • Market our products and services

  • Inform about news such as changes in legislation and developments in the market or within N&W Global Accounting

  • Manage applications for vacancies and positions or unsolicited expressions of interest for employment or internships

  • Handle enquiries or other contact that has been made with us

  • Fulfil agreements with the customer

  • Manage orders for the dispatch of publications or subscriptions to newsletters.

Which personal data we process

Careers

When you apply for a vacancy, we generally process the following personal data: name, year of birth, gender, email address, telephone number, address, CV, cover letter, and other attached documents (typically grades and certificates).
Your personal data are processed for the purpose of administering the recruitment for the position applied for. N&W Global Accounting stores the information you provide to us in connection with your application in a candidate profile. Your data may be retained if we see an opportunity for you to take part in another recruitment process at a later stage, provided that you have consented to this.

Contact form – GDPR

When you send a message via our contact form on the website, you will be asked to provide certain personal data, such as your name, telephone number or email address. We encourage you not to provide any personal data in the free-text fields, as this is forwarded as an email to a shared email address.
The personal data you provide in connection with a contact request are recorded and stored in order to handle and respond to the matter and, where applicable, to identify you in connection with a request. The personal data are stored in order to fulfil legal or contractual obligations such as documentation requirements, or to defend legal claims.

Other

In addition to the above, personal data that you yourself choose to provide are processed, for example in subsequent email correspondence with us. As a rule, we do not request sensitive personal data such as information about health or ethnic origin. If you choose to provide such information yourself, e.g. in connection with a job application, we assume that you want us to process this data in accordance with this policy.

Disclosure of personal data

Personal information will not be transferred unless N&W Global Accounting is required or permitted to do so by law, or when necessary to carry out our operations.

How long we retain personal data

N&W Global Accounting takes reasonable measures to retain personal data only for as long as required to fulfil the purposes for which they were collected.
Personal data that we use for distributing newsletters, subscriptions or notifications of other updates are stored until you inform us that the subscription should be terminated, which you can do by emailing or writing to us using the details below.

Security

Unfortunately, no data transmission over the internet or other network can be guaranteed to be completely secure. N&W Global Accounting strives to ensure that your personal data are processed securely and in accordance with this policy, protecting them against unauthorised access, alteration and destruction.
N&W Global Accounting ensures that the personal data processed are protected through appropriate technical and organisational security measures, taking into account what is suitable in relation to the nature, scope and sensitivity of the personal data. N&W Global Accounting’s systems and organisation are arranged so that unauthorised persons do not have access to the personal data being processed.

Laws and professional obligations, including professional ethical rules, also impose requirements for organisational security measures. Examples of such measures include:

  • Duty of confidentiality for everyone working within or for N&W Global Accounting regarding information obtained during or in connection with work at or for N&W Global Accounting.

  • Data protection agreements with relevant suppliers and consultants.

  • Internal procedures and policies regarding the careful handling of personal data and for data minimisation, relevance, timeliness, retention and incident management.

Rights

In certain cases, you have the right to request information about, rectification or erasure of your personal data, and the right to request restriction of processing or to object to processing. However, there may be limitations under law, professional regulations and other provisions that affect these rights.
You are primarily responsible for keeping the information you have provided up to date. To update the information, send the correct details to us, after which we will rectify the data as soon as possible. If, moreover, we become aware that personal data you have provided to us via the websites or otherwise are no longer accurate, we will correct, de-identify or delete such personal data.
Personal data are retained for a period justified by the purposes of the processing. Upon request, identifiable personal data will be removed from current systems where possible, which may mean that we can no longer continue to provide the services to you. You have the right to object to such processing of personal data that we carry out where we consider we have a legitimate interest based on a balancing of interests. The objection must be specific.

You have the right to obtain, free of charge, a transcript showing which personal data about you are being processed. Requests for information and transcripts must be made in writing to N&W Global Accounting’s postal address and be personally signed by the applicant and include the applicant’s name, telephone number and a copy of valid identification.
